Chocolate Protein Doughnuts

Everyday should be filled with doughnuts, especially when they are chocolate protein ones - melt in your mouth delicious!   Method   Preheat oven to 180/160°c fan and lightly grease a doughnut tin. To a bowl, add all the doughnut ingredients and mix until a thick batter forms. Spoon evenly between the 6 doughnut rings and place in a preheated oven for 15 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Meanwhile make the frosting by mixing together all the frosting ingredients in a small bowl. Once the doughnuts are cooled, spread the frosting over the top and add any extra decorations you desire like chocolate chips.

65g plain flour

40g Rich Chocolate Clean Lean Protein

25g cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

60ml melted coconut oil

1 large egg

4 tbsp maple syrup

### Frosting

50g smooth peanut butter

2 tbsp maple syrup

1/2 tbsp cocoa powder

(Optional) any decorations like chocolate chips
